Mini Cranes
We operate a range of mini crawler cranes. These machines which are incredibly compact, very maneuverable and have the ability to gain access into areas which, until now have been impossible for cranes to operate in.
They have the ability to climb slopes and stairs up to 23 degrees.
Combined with narrow track width of only 600mm on the smallest model, and low headroom, the complete range is less than 2 metres when travelling.
Rubber tracks ensure that ground pressure is very low and surface damage minimal.
The smallest of the cranes weighs 1050kg; The outrigger point loadings are low on the whole range. All machines are supplied with plastic non deflecting outrigger pads to reduce load weight further.
Our service includes the supply of calculations to demonstrate the loads during work and advice to clients on what may be required to reduce the load if the machines are being used on slab floors, roofs etc.

Each model is technically advanced and CE marked and can be operated by remote control giving the operator a direct view of the work being undertaken. Cranes come equipped with many of the safety features you would find on larger AT and truck mounted cranes including:
- Safe load indicator
- Moment limiter
- Instability alarm
- Hook block over hoist
Our engineers are fully qualified and have attended the various manufacturers’ courses on the repair and maintenance of the cranes.
All machines are fully inspected and serviced before delivery to site to ensure compliance with current regulations.
The Frome depot has recently been approved for training and testing under the new CPCS A66 category for Mini Cranes
