A66 Training
We are pleased to announce that in co-operation with the CTA Training Centre our depot near Frome has recently been approved for training and testing under the CPCS Card Scheme.
We offer training and testing to enable operators to obtain the categories listed below:

A66 compact crane - endorsement A (static stabilisers)
- 4 Outriggers minimum
- 360 Degrees slewing upper structure
- Telescopic boom
- Hoist rope

A66 compact crane - endorsement B (mobile industrial)
- Capability for pick and carry duties
- Wheeled or tracked chassis
- Non-Slewing telescopic

A66 compact crane - endorsement C (luffing static duties)
- Trailer mounted
- 4 outriggers minimum
- 360 degree slewing upper structure
- Telescopic boom with luffing extension
- Hoist rope
All Training and testing on endorsement C is carried out using BOKER trailer mounted tower cranes

We are able to supply qualified operators under the CPCS scheme (A66 compact cranes).
At AKS we have operators who have undertaken BESC, competent person and NSI training enabling them to carry out work in sub-stations.
Alternatively your staff can be trained and take their CPCS A66 test at our premises in Frome.
